If you are fairly new to living here, chances are you will be spending a lot of your spare time and weekends exploring Nova Scotia, I know we certainly did.

If you fancy taking a road trip to explore further afield, there are some wonderful things to see and do in the Annapolis Valley. Not only is this place stunning to visit in Spring and Summer, there’s quite a lot to explore in the winter months too.

I came across this blog post recently from Wise Guides and it has a fabulous list of winter activities that may interest you if you fancy a change of scenery and doing a little bit of exploring. The waterfalls are especially worth visiting in the winter, particularly if we have a spell of frigid weather.

10 Winter Things to Do in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia

The Annapolis valley is very easy to get to from Halifax. We can get to Ski Martock from our home in just 45 minutes which allows us to go skiing weekly.

As always, feel free to get in touch with any questions you may have about life in Nova Scotia.
